The Marshall girls put on an absolute clinic, capturing first place in a multitude of events, led by senior Marlee Heighton’s stellar performance. On the boys’ side, senior Kaiden Sanders leaped to victory in the long jump to highlight a solid afternoon of competition for the hometown squad.

The Marshall girls showcased impressive depth and top-tier talent across both track and field events. Heighton was the star of the sprints, sweeping the 100-meter dash in a personal-best 13.2 seconds and the 200-meter dash in 27.6 seconds. She also showcased her versatility in the field, winning the long jump with a personal-best leap of 4.88 meters. Heighton capped off her dominant day by anchoring the winning 4×400 relay team, joining Peyton Edwards, Addie Nave, and Molly Farrell to clock a time of 4:40.0.
